FED: Police appeal for information on missing four-year-old girl

A four-year-old girl believed to have been abducted by her mother and brought to Australia
in breach of a New Zealand court order is still missing.

REBEKAH JAYNE STEWART has been missing since March, when her mother ROANNE JILL STEWART
is believed to have brought her to Australia.

REBEKAH's father is seeking her return to New Zealand under the United Nations Hague
Convention, which facilitates the return of children who are abducted from their home
countries.

The Australian Federal Police believe it's possible Ms STEWART may have been in contact
with family in Sydney and they're appealing for public information on her and REBEKAH's
whereabouts.

Anyone with information is urged to call federal police on (02) 9286 4819.
