ICSA, Inc. Enhances Internet Security Service with Addition of TruSecure Intranet Module; Extends proactive system evaluation, improvement and information to internal corporate LANs.

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1999--

ICSA, Inc. today announced an enhancement to TruSecure(TM) extending coverage to include security vulnerabilities found inside the corporate network.

TruSecure, a comprehensive security service, will now include an Intranet module that provides proactive system evaluation, improvement and information for internal corporate networks. This component enhances the security offering by addressing internal network security issues including desktops, critical servers and modem connections.

"While outsider intrusion is and continues to be a growing concern, studies reveal that inside attacks are frequent and can be very destructive in terms of lost data, time and money. The Intranet enhancement to TruSecure will help guard against disgruntled employees, innocent mistakes, improper information sharing and also regulates the administration of user rights and permissions," said Peter Tippett, Chairman and Chief Technologist at ICSA, Inc.

"By extending the focus of TruSecure, ICSA can enable corporations to address inside security issues in a logical and methodical way that will greatly enhance their security posture."

A recent survey conducted by Information Security (www.infosecuritymag.com) magazine indicates that while security has improved in the past year, breaches cost organizations an average of $256,000 during l998. The 745 total respondents to the 1999 Industry Survey also indicated that companies suffer employee access abuses more that any other type of security breach.
